CEO and Founder
My name is Michael Leung, founder of The Flo Group in Calgary. We’re on a mission to redefine how people experience sound—offering an inclusive, affordable alternative to hearing aids through open-ear bone conduction technology with a built-in amplifier. Our goal is to help individuals with hearing loss communicate more confidently and without stigma.
This mission is deeply personal. I live with retinitis pigmentosa, a degenerative eye condition where I have lost my peripheral and night vision on one side, and have overcome significant challenges—childhood trauma, PTSD, ADHD, addiction, and near-bankruptcy. These experiences have shaped my commitment to accessibility and to supporting communities, especially low- and middle-income individuals living with disabilities.
