Author and therapist
My name is Kurt Warner and I am a licensed clinical social worker and therapist. I graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in English literature from King’s College in Pennsylvania and graduated with a master’s in social work from Binghamton University. I won both of the English awards in my class and have been published in the King’s College literary magazine. My book Victory in Every Fall: The Antaeus Approach to Overcome Disabilities received honors in the 2025 Eric Hoffer Book Award. I have also published another nonfiction book titled False Idols: How Diversion is Destroying Democracy. My fiction utopian novel is called Utopia Realized: In Search of A Just Society is currently available in the UK, and will be released in the US soon. I have been published in the academic journal Disability in Society. I have also been published in a book entitled Same Time Next Week: True Stories of Working through Mental Illness. I was the writer for the Mental Health Association of Cortland County and was regularly published in the mental health association newsletter and am occasionally published in the Cortland Standard newspaper Cortland County, New York for articles on mental health. I am currently working as a psychotherapist working with individuals struggling with mental health issues.
