Darren Elliott

Darren Elliott is a compassionate storyteller, coach, and therapist specializing in working with narcissists and their families. Having journeyed from survivor to therapist, he uniquely understands the complexities of narcissism as a disorder of disconnection. Darren empowers clients to heal narcissistic wounds, fostering intimate and sustainable relationships through coaching and trauma therapy.
Previously a small business owner and educator, Darren is a member of the Ontario College of Teachers, the Canadian Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and the Canadian Association of Psychodynamic Therapy. His drag persona, Doreen Devine, advocates for mental health and human rights, teaches about narcissism in a way that humanizes it and makes it more likely someone will reach for personal growth, while sharing messages of love and personal growth.
Darren just finished writing, and is in pre-release of his first book, “The Narcissism Recovery Project,” exploring emotional disconnection in an age of narcissism its impact, and what we can do for change.
