Carolyn J Murphy

Carolyn J. Murphy is the Founder and CEO of Firm Foundations Community Outreach, LLC, a dual-purpose organization dedicated to helping individuals navigate the aftermath of trauma and reclaim their lives. As a survivor and overcomer of both childhood and post-childhood trauma, Carolyn describes herself as "a voice in the wilderness, crying out to all that there's life on the other side of trauma." This heartfelt mission inspired her book, God, Why Did You Save Me?, and continues to shape her work as The MindShift Coach—guiding individuals to shift their mindset, break free from the shackles of the past, and embrace a life of freedom and purpose.
Carolyn holds a BA in Organizational Leadership and is pursuing an MBA, which will equip her to serve as a Tennessee-Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS). Through her programs, coaching, and resources, she helps individuals transition to wholeness and connects them with the tools they need to thrive.
When she's not empowering others, Carolyn enjoys relaxing on cruises, listening to music, taking long walks in the park, and watching action, drama, and comedy movies. With a deep appreciation for humor, she also finds joy in stand-up comedy, savoring moments that remind her to embrace life fully.
