I am a single mom who has overcome a lot of trauma. I grew up being adopted and having to adjust to living in a predominatley Caucasian town. I had experiences with being bullied and dealing with racism. During high school, I was social but I struggled to feel like I fit in and I developed an eating disorder. Fast forward to college days, I experienced not fitting in when I went to college primarily due to my being biracial. During college, I was sexually assaulted, attempted suicide, and almost died of alcohol poisoning from binge drinking In my 20s I was involved in an abusive relationship. I suffered all forms of abuse including being defecated on. Into adulthood, I have learned to live with anxiety, depression, and the aftermath of trauma.
